A NEW NAME WITH THE SAME MISSION
Truckee Community Cares strives to serve the local community by embracing all faiths and beliefs. That is why the board decided to change our name to better suit our mission of helping anyone and everyone that we can. It is the generosity of this amazing community that fuels this organization.
Truckee Community Cares is an all-volunteer non-profit that serves as an umbrella organization that identifies community members who need assistance and raises funds to help. We collaborate with other community groups such as Soroptimist International of Truckee Donner, various local faith organizations and many other local businesses. Because of the generosity of the Truckee community and individuals like yourself, our organization is able to provide grocery store gift cards, a toy or gift for each child and warm jackets for each member of the family.
Last year, Truckee Community Cares benefited just over 1,000 individuals. All residents in the Truckee area are invited to support our mission. To find out more about how you can help, visit Our Programs and Our Volunteer pages.
